Well, I found a new website for Book Reviews by Reilune. I’m hoping that it will be a better experience than the other site was. That’s pretty much it for now. If you want to check it out click here, or click on Book Reviews by Reilune under Literature in the side nav bar.

Second Blog Needs To Be Redirected

So, I started Book Reviews by Reilune, but found that the website that is currently hosting it only allows a maximum of 20 pages for the free subscription. Each book requires one page, each genre requires one page per genre plus the main genre page, author requires one page per author plus the main author page, the title page is one page, then there is the home page and the Guestbook. So many pages, so many books, not enough space. I do not want to spend hundreds of dollars a year on this website. I have better things to spend it on. I don’t want a permanent space in the internet, but I would like something to do in college like this website.

I don’t know what website can handle what I want to do. It’s honestly not much. I just need unlimited pages.

A Second Blog

Well, I have decided to write a review blog for books I have read. It will be updated every time I have finished a book, so there shall be no regular updates, they will be erratic. You can find a link on the side bar to it, at the time of this blog there has not been an update or a first posting because I have yet to finish the book I planned to have as my first review.

I decided to start a review blog as something to do over the summer while I wait for college to arrive and also as something for me to do during college. An objective, if you will, so I have some type of familiar act.

Leaving

So, in roughly 34 days I will be leaving for college. I’m extremely excited, but also very nervous. I will luckily have some people I know there, but other than that, I’m leaving the majority of the people I know behind. I’m leaving my home state, traveling about 2 hours and 45 minutes away. I have the luxury of being close to home that I can drive too and from home within a day if need be. But I am far enough away that I can feel like I’m countries away.

The thought of being away from home and on my own is stressing me out slightly, but I know that everything will turn out for the better and I will come accustomed to my new life. Lately I have spent countless nights lying awake, terrified of what the future holds for me. Am I choosing the right major? Will I find a job? How am I going to live on my own? How will I provide for myself? What future do I have? All of these things have been haunting me. I try not to dwell on them, seeing as I’m just entering my first year at college and things tend to change. I might end up not being an Anthropology major. I might change my mind. Who knows?

A couple nights ago I even had the thought, what if Nostradamus was right? What if the world does end in 2012. All my hard work would have been for nothing. I don’t graduate until 2013. But then I think, well I can’t just have fun and goof off for the next 3 years of my life. What if he was wrong? I just wasted 3 years goofing off and doing everything I planned to do later in life, instead of getting my degree and securing my future.

We don’t know what the future will hold for us, but I plan on making the most of it and not worrying about all the little things, like the world maybe ending on 12.12.2012. Seriously? I think Nostradamus and everyone else who claims it will happen is just bullshitting us. December is the last month, then they just decided that it would be even more “eerie” to have the numbers be the same and futuristic. Therefore: 12-12-2012… just wow.
